SISB has launched the SmartCard ID System for the primary and the nursery & kindergarten schools.
This ID card is used to record the attendance of all children in SISB, as well as to keep track of punctuality and in the near future, to facilitate the enhancement of security in school.
Students must tap their ID card on an electronic reader (at the front or back gate) before entering or upon leaving the school.
Whilst primary students are expected to take ownership of their ID cards and to keep them safely in their bags, nursery and kindergarten children will hang the ID cards around their necks before entering or leaving school. The conspicuous display of the toddlers’ ID cards is to remind parents or care givers to tap the card conscientiously at the front or back gate.
All students must bring along their ID cards to school everyday and the full implementation of the new electronic system of taking attendance starts next Monday 23rd February 2009.

In future, the same ID card will be used for borrowing books in our upgraded library or buying snacks in our canteen after school.
