Accreditations and Memberships

Council of International Schools

In June 2011, SISB received its highest honour yet: accreditation by the Council of International Schools.

New England Association of Schools and Colleges

In March 2015, SISB was accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment

In 2010, SISB was fully accredited by the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment under the Private Education Act of Thailand.

Cambridge International Examinations

SISB is an approved centre certified by Cambridge International Examinations to conduct the IGCSE, AS and A Levels examinations.

Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board

SISB is the first international school in Thailand which was formally appointed by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board in 2006 as the official examination centre for the Singapore International Primary School Examination (iPSLE).

Hanban

SISB is certified by the Ministry of Education of China as a Hanban centre to conduct Chinese proficiency tests for students.

College Board

The College Board is a mission-driven not-for-profit organisation that connects students to college success and opportunity. Founded in 1900, the College Board was created to expand access to higher education. In 2015, SISB became a centre for College Board SAT test.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award

SISB holds the Basic Independent Award Centre Licence to conduct The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Scheme, the world’s leading youth achievement award Programme.

East Asia Regional Council of Schools

The East Asia Regional Council of Schools is an organisation of 156 member schools in East Asia with a combined total of more than 100,000 pre-K to 12th grade students. SISB was granted full membership in EARCOS in October 2016.

International Schools Association of Thailand

International Schools Association of Thailand acts as the unified voice for international education in Thailand and as a centre for collective action on behalf of its membership. SISB has been a member of the International Schools Association of Thailand since 2001.

Thailand International Schools Activity Conference

The purpose of Thailand International Schools Activity Conference (TISAC) is to provide a well-rounded programme of sporting, non-sporting and cultural activities for member schools in a framework that will achieve recognised educational objectives whilst bringing together students to enjoy friendly and competitive opportunities to develop their talents. SISB was accepted as a member of TISAC in June 2017.
